Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking an experienced integration engineer to lead the physical integration and packaging of structural, mechanical, fluids, and avionics subsystems for the New Glenn vehicle. You will coordinate interfaces and ensure designs support major design reviews and milestones.

As part of a team of engineers, you will create and manage ICDs, communicate with payload customers, and drive regular configuration reviews.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering with 2+ years in development and packaging of aircraft/spacecraft structures.
• Configuration control experience from early trade studies through final design and manufacturing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong design and integration skills using 3-D CAD software.
• Knowledge of scheduling and planning principles.
• Good judgment and flexibility; results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Create and release New Glenn engineering drawings and models.
• Maintain interface control drawings between major elements and payload interfaces.
• Define and manage payload accommodation environments.
• Support payload-specific mission integration from planning to launch readiness.
• Develop streamlined processes to enhance System Design operations.
