Job summary

Blue Origin in Florida seeks an experienced engineer to lead the physical integration and packaging of structural, mechanical, fluids, and avionics for the New Glenn launch vehicle. You will define interfaces and manage ICDs with payloads and customers to support major design reviews.

You will coordinate interface definitions, support mission integration from planning to launch readiness, and help optimize engineering processes.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering and 2+ years in vehicle structures.
• Experience with interface control documents and ICDs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in 3-D CAD and visualization tools.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create and release New Glenn engineering drawings and models.
• Maintain interface control drawings between major payload and vehicle elements.
• Define and manage payload accommodation environments and interfaces.
• Support payload-specific mission integration from planning to launch readiness.
• Improve design processes to operationalize the System Design organization.
