Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation, based in Chantilly, VA, seeks a Senior Member of Technical Staff in Signal & Image Processing and Modeling & Simulation to advance enterprise-level analysis of space systems. You’ll plan and contribute to technical projects, develop analyses, and present findings to customers using in-house and commercial tools.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years in multi-disciplinary engineering environments, with Python and/or C++ experience, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, astronautical, mechanical, or software) or related field.
5+ years of professional engineering/scientific experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
Experience with space operations concepts and C2/kill chain concepts.
Experience with EOIR/RF/RADAR for object detection and tracking is a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan and contribute to technical analysis projects independently.
Model and analyze enterprise-level missions and simulations.
Develop and deliver technical presentations and reports.
Use in-house and off-the-shelf engineering analysis tools.
Travel occasionally as required.
