Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff specializing in signal & image processing and modeling & simulation engineering. You will independently plan technical analyses, develop tools, and deliver results for space-focused programs.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years in related fields, experience with EOIR/RF/RADAR processing, and strong Python/C++ skills, plus a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, astronautical, mechanical, or software) from an accredited school.
5+ years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience.
Technical understanding of space operations, red vs blue simulations, military utility, killchain effectiveness, C2 awareness.

Responsibilities

Independently plan and contribute to technical analysis projects.
Model, analyze and understand enterprise-level integrated missions.
Develop and deliver presentations and reports of technical findings.
Use in-house and government/off-the-shelf analysis tools and products.
Travel occasionally as required.
