Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Senior Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Engineer to support advanced ISR studies for government and commercial customers. You will model satellites, aircraft, sensor systems, mission scenarios, and operational concepts to evaluate performance and inform decisions on future space and airborne capabilities.

This senior role leads complex modeling efforts, mentors analysts, and serves as a technical intermediary with customers.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science field.
• 8+ years in space systems modeling and simulation.
• Willing to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-fidelity modeling and simulation for space, airborne, and ISR studies.
• Engage with customers and leadership to clarify mission needs and translate into analysis plans.
• Define technical approaches, measures of performance, scenarios designs, and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor junior analysts and lead technical reviews.
• Plan and prioritize technical work and coordinate multidisciplinary contributors.
• Guide simulations using cloud and HPC resources and ensure quality of outputs.
• Deliver clear, defensible recommendations to customers and senior decision-makers.
