Job summary

Northrop Grumman, Western Region Manufacturing and Operations, Integration and Test Dept in Gilbert, AZ, seeks an Engineer Mechanical/Principal Engineer Mechanical (Level 2/3) to join a team of qualified engineers. You will perform I&T activities for space vehicle systems and their supporting hardware, coordinating build, test, and production operations.

The role requires a TS clearance, experience in space vehicle I&T, and the ability to lead less experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 2+ years of related experience OR Master’s with relevant experience
• Experience in integration, test, mechanical operations, or manufacturing
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP clearances

Responsibilities

• Perform I&T activities for space vehicle systems and hardware
• Coordinate mechanical build and production operations by the technical staff
• Develop test procedures and support hardware designs meeting space vehicle requirements
• Analyze test results to ensure space flight hardware health and operation
