Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer to design and optimize PCBA hardware for advanced antenna systems used in space applications.

You will own hardware blocks, develop proof-of-concept systems, and collaborate with RF teams to implement RF circuits, testing, and eventual production-ready boards. This role demands leadership in bring-up, review of PCB layouts, and crafting automated test solutions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of industrial experience especially board level analog/digital design.
• 3+ years of high-speed digital design, multi-gigabit SERDES, signal and power integrity.
• 3+ years of experience using schematic.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize the hardware blocks that make up complex electronic systems
• Develop proof-of-concept systems and prototypes for the next generation of electronic hardware
• Implement RF circuits on PCB in close collaboration with the RF team
• Design automated test systems, test fixtures, and factory test processes
• Lead bring-up and test campaigns for hardware that integrates active antennas
• Lead and review PCB layout
