Job summary

Amazon Leo is hiring a Senior Hardware Engineer to design PCBA hardware for advanced antenna systems in a space-focused environment. You will own design blocks, develop proof-of-concept systems, and lead bring-up campaigns for hardware integrating active antennas, with close collaboration to RF and test teams.

The role requires 7+ years in board-level analog/digital design, high-speed SERDES, and strong familiarity with schematic capture and lab equipment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of industrial experience in board level analog/digital design.
• 3+ years in high-speed digital design and SERDES, with signal and power integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize the hardware blocks that make up complex electronic systems.
• Develop proof-of-concept systems and prototypes for next-generation electronic hardware.
• Implement RF circuits on PCB in close collaboration with the RF team.
• Design automated test systems, test fixtures, and factory test processes.
• Lead bring-up and test campaigns for hardware that integrates active antennas.
• Lead and review PCB layout.
