Job summary

Amazon Leo is shaping the future of satellite-based internet by building a robust, space-grade PCB design and manufacturing capability in Redmond. This role engages with cross-disciplinary teams to define and implement spacecraft subsystems, manage multiple PCB projects, and ensure electrical and mechanical integration meets demanding requirements.

You will produce full documentation for PCB/PCBA fabrication and testing, contributing to a mission that reaches millions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
7+ years experience of PCB layout design using industry standard PCB design suites.
5+ years experience with high speed circuits.
5+ years experience managing multiple projects in parallel.

Responsibilities

Participate in the definition and implementation of multiple spacecraft subsystems.
Contribute in all phases of PCB design and production. You must bring a combination of PCB design, fabrication, assembly, and test knowledge to a highly collaborative cross team functional team.
Work with the Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to ensure the design meets all requirements from an electrical performance and mechanical enclosure perspective.
Create all documentation packages required to fabricate and assemble the PCB/PCBA.
