Job summary

TriSept Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (SETA) for space/ground communications systems based in Chantilly, VA. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph and involves leading system integration across globally distributed sites.

Responsibilities include evaluating requirements, managing interfaces, assessing readiness for launch and operations, handling anomalies, and guiding multi-site transitions to operations with a focus on performance metrics and ConOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• 8–10 years of relevant systems engineering experience, preferably in space/ground communications.
• Extensive experience in satellite ground systems and space-to-ground communications.
• Strong background in systems engineering, requirements, and interface analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement and integration of satellite system users into multiple complex space and ground communication systems.
• Evaluate space-ground system requirements, interfaces, and performance including ground links and antenna capabilities.
• Assess system readiness for launch, test, and operational deployment.
• Provide technical analysis and recommendations for space-ground and on-orbit anomalies.
• Lead and facilitate ground operations assessments, status reviews, and configuration management boards.
• Lead technical transition of a global ground communications system to an Operations organization.
