Job summary

Space Systems Integration LLC in Chantilly, VA seeks a Satellite Systems Engineer to provide SETA support for an SPO. Requires active TS/SCI with CI polygraph and 10+ years in satellite systems; master's in engineering. Responsibilities span lifecycle from concept to post-launch, and liaison with IC/DoD contractors.

Travel up to 10% and strong briefing skills are essential. This role offers growth in space resiliency programs and collaboration with government and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph (within 10 years).
• Master's degree in engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience across satellite mission lifecycle and space system design for IC/DoD.
• PMI PMP, INCOSE CSEP/ESEP or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee acquisitions by focusing on SE processes across lifecycle readiness reviews.
• Develop and review SOWs, perform technical evaluations, and support source selection.
• Manage risk across the satellite lifecycle and ensure system integrity.
• Serve as technical liaison between Government and contractors.
• Collaborate with SMEs to integrate designs into customer architecture.
• Guide COs and COTRs to align requirements, metrics, and deliverables.
• Identify technology gaps and help build strategic roadmaps.
• Prepare briefings communicating status, findings, and recommendations.
• Leverage data analytics to evaluate system performance.
