Job summary

True Anomaly seeks an experienced GNC engineer to lead end-to-end spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control software. You will define architectures, implement algorithms, simulate and validate with flight hardware, and mentor junior engineers near Long Beach or Denver.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a relevant field, 8+ years hands-on GNC experience, and strong C++/Python skills. Onsite work with mission-critical systems and security clearance eligibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and fielding spacecraft GNC systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, including software development, numerical methods, and algorithm implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-disciplinary technical efforts and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of spacecraft GNC systems, including architecture definition, algorithm design, software implementation, hardware integration, verification, and flight operations.
• Design, test, and validate GNC flight software for spacecraft in LEO, GEO, and cislunar environments.
• Lead creation and improvement of high-fidelity simulations, sensor/actuator models, and Monte Carlo pipelines.
