Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior systems engineering professional with deep EW, SATCOM, and RF expertise to advise on force design and develop complex space-related systems. You will lead technical analyses, coordinate with government customers, and guide multi-disciplinary teams through design reviews, testing, and integration.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in engineering roles, security clearance, and a working knowledge of satellite operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or technical science.
• 8+ years engineering/scientific experience, preferably with operational systems and systems engineering.
• Experience in DoD, IC, or Civil satellite systems.
• Experience in EW, SATCOM, or RF systems with EW techniques like anti-jamming.
• Understanding satellite operations and mission needs.
• Ability to solve problems and work in dynamic environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical analyses and teams.
• Experience with government customers.
• Willing to travel occasionally.
• Active Top Secret SCI clearance; eligible for SAP/SAR.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on technical and analytical approaches, force design, and system development for EW/SATCOM projects.
• Provide EW and SATCOM RF technical and operational expertise.
• Support systems engineering including requirements development, design reviews, integration, and test campaigns.
• Lead modifications and enhancements to EW architectures.
• Perform link budget analyses across multiple frequency bands and systems.
• Collaborate across mission programs to identify risks and provide enterprise recommendations.
• Interact with government organizations and intelligence/community partners.
• Lead analytic teams to address technical questions via data-driven analysis.
• Coordinate with external partners in integrated product teams.
