Job summary

True Anomaly in Long Beach, CA seeks a Senior Manager of Enterprise Security to build and lead a security function foundationally. You will mentor engineers spanning enterprise security, vulnerability management, and Linux security while aligning with compliance requirements.

You will shape strategy, drive roadmaps across workstations, servers, cloud, and OT security, manage on-call operations, and collaborate with IT, DevOps, and manufacturing to embed security throughout the system development

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading security engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
• 7+ years in information security with hands-on contribution.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise and cloud technologies, vulnerabilities and security tooling.
• Expertise with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, MDM, and endpoint protection.
• Ability to translate business priorities into security strategy and communicate it clearly.
• Experience leading teams through active security incidents and on-call operations.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, mentor, and grow a team of security engineers.
• Set goals, provide feedback, and support career development for direct reports.
• Foster a high-ownership team culture in fast-paced environments.
• Manage on-call rotations and incident response readiness.
• Define and drive enterprise security roadmap across workstations, servers, cloud, and Linux fleet.
• Own vulnerability management maturity, SLA adherence, and risk-based prioritization.
• Set direction for OT security, identity, access management, and Linux hardening.
• Identify gaps and prioritize resources to close security program gaps.
• Partner with IT/DevOps/engineering/OT to embed security in SDLC and IaC.
