Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Systems seeks a Program Manager 1 to lead the Integrated Thermal Systems program in Hanover, MD. You will oversee cost and schedule, ensure technical performance, and build customer relationships across diverse programs.

Required: engineering degree with 5+ years PM experience or a Master’s with 3+ years; strong leadership and communication skills; U.S. citizenship. This is a 100% on-site role with a generous salary range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 5+ years of project management experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills in independent and team environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver on cost, schedule and technical requirements.
• Demonstrated success maintaining internal and external customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate customer relationships to develop opportunities within the customer community.
• Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams to meet cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
• Establish and manage the program baseline, budgets and schedules using EVMS or similar methodologies.
• Deliver presentations to customers and management, and negotiate contracts and changes.
