Varda is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for the Flight Software team in El Segundo, CA. You will determine spacecraft behavior in orbit and develop reliable software across all phases of development, from requirements to flight operations.

The role requires 5+ years on safety-critical software for spacecraft and expertise in C++, RTOS, and real-time systems. On-site work in El Segundo with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in development of spacecraft or safety-critical software.
• Experience with real-time embedded hardware/software systems and C++.

Responsibilities

• Determine spacecraft behavior in orbit and build reliable flight software.
• Own all aspects of software development from design to integration and verification.
• Write bare metal, RTOS, or Linux-based embedded software in C++ and ensure system quality.
