Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Electronics Design and Analysis for Electronic Packaging Design. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex space electronics packaging projects, performing structural and thermal analyses and collaborating with PCB layout teams.

Ideal candidates have 9+ years in CAD/analysis, aerospace experience, and experience with ANSYS, Creo, or NX Nastran.

Qualifications

US citizenship required with ability to obtain security clearance.
9+ years experience using CAD tools and performing thermal/structural analyses.
Experience with PCB design or aerospace space electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead coordination of multi-discipline groups to develop requirements and designs.
Guide structural design and perform trade studies to optimize structure.
Perform detailed structural and thermal analysis using tools and hand methods.
Document analyses to show compliance with requirements and standards.
Collaborate with Electrical Engineering to layout PCBs and routing.
Validate designs through reviews, testing, and analyses.
Develop new processes to improve engineering task efficiency and reduce cycle time.
Conduct root cause analyses and corrective actions for failures.
