Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer to support SSC Space Sensing activities in El Segundo, CA. You will lead technical tasks across the lifecycle, integrate inputs from multiple stakeholders, and provide actionable recommendations to Government leads.

The role requires substantial space systems engineering experience and the ability to work onsite at Los Angeles Air Force Base, supporting mission readiness and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in aerospace or systems engineering fields.
• Experience with systems engineering processes across lifecycle stages.
• Ability to assess risks and communicate impacts to Government stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reports and briefings.
• Willingness to work on site at LAAFB, El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical tasks and provide recommendations to Government leads.
• Review work products, resolve issues, and mentor team members.
• Apply systems engineering methods across concept development, requirements, design, integration, verification, test, and readiness.
• Review requirements, specifications, plans and schedules for technical completeness and consistency.
• Track technical performance, interfaces, risk, and mission readiness; identify issues for Government attention.
• Support spacecraft, payload, launch vehicle, ground system, and mission-partner integration activities.
• Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, readiness reviews, and other program reviews.
• Conduct trade studies and analyses to inform Government decisions.
• Develop assessments, reports, briefings, and meeting products for Government review.
