The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Senior Electronic Design and Analysis Engineer to join the Electronics Packaging and Product Design Team. You will contribute cradle-to-grave work, including mechanical PCB design, packaging, and thermal/structural/vibration analysis for satellite missions.

You will lead multi-discipline teams, perform analyses, and collaborate with Electrical Engineering to optimize layouts and verify designs.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field as listed in the job posting.
• 10+ years’ experience using CAD tools.
• Experience with thermal, structural, dynamics, and/or vibration analysis or PCB design/assembly.

Mansioni

• Lead coordination of multi-discipline groups to develop and understand requirements and develop high-level and detailed designs.
• Guide structural design and configuration development by performing trade studies to optimize structure and meet program requirements.
• Performs detailed structural and thermal analysis using hand calculations and analysis tools.
• Documents structural analyses and data to show compliance with Boeing, customer and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering to perform PCB sizing, placement, layout and routing.
• Validate designs through reviews, testing and analysis.
• Develop and support new processes to reduce cycle time and drive improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and define go-forward plans.
• Identify, track and status technical performance measures.
• Support Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services.
