Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA (and Mesa, AZ) is seeking a mid-level or senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer to lead system analysis, develop and run models and simulations to support space programs, and design constellations for proprietary missions.

You will participate in all phases of the system life cycle, including ConOps, requirements, architecture, verification and operations, often coordinating across the engineering team to justify the best modeling approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• Systems engineering experience involving system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis, and verification.
• Experience with at least one high level software development language (e.g. MATLAB, Python, C++).

Responsibilities

• Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify system of systems and solutions.
• Evaluates needs to define requirements and ensure compatibility of interfaces.
• Performs analyses to optimize system architecture and affordability.
• Develops requirements management, risk, and technology readiness processes.
• Maintains budgets and supports subsystem performance measures.
