Job summary

Albedo is seeking a technical lead for power and analog electrical engineering on our avionics and spacecraft-power programs. You own electrical architecture across programs (EPS, bus regulation, battery management, isolated supplies, analog signal chains) and drive the next generation of our electronics.

You lead through architecture, design reviews, and mentoring, while staying hands-on for hard design work when time allows. On-site in Broomfield, CO.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required with strong background in hardware design.
• BSEE is required; an MSEE is preferred for advanced roles.
• Hands-on experience from concept to production across multiple designs.
• Deep expertise in DC/DC converters, battery management and isolation.
• Experience with high-voltage power designs and margins for flight hardware.
• Solid grasp of digital interfaces to FPGA/avionics and software teams.
• Proven ability to lead design reviews and guide younger engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical architecture across EPS, bus regulation, and battery management.
• Set technical direction and lead architecture reviews with management.
• Lead through design reviews while delegating day-to-day tasks.
• Stay hands-on for high-stakes design work when needed.
• Collaborate across FPGA, avionics, software, mechanical, and systems teams.
• Mentor engineers and enforce EE design-review discipline.
