Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to lead contract administration across government and commercial programs. The role focuses on negotiation, compliance, and proposal support for DoD and commercial efforts in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, TS/SCI eligibility, and strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS; base salary reflects VA market norms and a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of contract administration/management experience in Space/A&D.
Extensive knowledge of Government contracts, OTAs, FAR/DFARS.
Experience negotiating commercial terms and conditions.
Experience managing DoD prime contracts and/or subcontracts.
RFP analysis and proposal preparation experience.
Top Secret/SCI security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Negotiate and administer government and commercial contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements and IP licenses.
Review, interpret and advise on contract provisions and agreement types.
Analyze terms for implications and inform stakeholders and leadership.
Serve as primary customer interface for contractual compliance and adjustments.
Assist proposals and responses to Government/commercial solicitations and RFIs.
Create and maintain contract and business files.
Maintain relationships with Government and customer counterparts.
Assist Accounts Receivable in invoicing with Government and commercial customers.
