Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking a senior analyst to lead analysis teams focused on space communication and ground architectures. You will conduct end-to-end performance evaluations and AoA, and coordinate across multiple customers to inform acquisition decisions.

Applicants should have a strong engineering background with 10+ years leading studies, and must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, or other engineering with a strong communications background.
• Typically 10+ years of industry experience, with demonstrated experience leading engineering studies and analysis teams, managing/coordinating complex technical tasks, and translating customer needs into tasks for team members.
• Experience in one or more national security space or intelligence mission areas: comms/ground infrastructures, signals intelligence, geo-spatial intelligence, space surveillance, navigation, or space protection.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis teams whose recommendations shape acquisition and development decisions for space-based and terrestrial communication systems.
• Serve as a technical authority in areas such as communication and ground architecture performance, network modeling, or scheduling and mission management.
• Perform end-to-end performance evaluations and AoA using internally developed analysis capabilities.
• Translate complex analysis into clear briefings for technical leads, senior leadership, and government customers.
