Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Washington state seeks an experienced RF/antenna engineer to design, test, and qualify antennas for spacecraft communications. You will work with the Lunar Antenna Vertical Integration team and cross-functional partners to advance spaceflight safety and reliability. The role requires a B.S.

in EE or physics and 5+ years in antenna design, RF systems, and aerospace testing, with hands-on prototyping and multi-band experience (UHF–Ka). U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in electrical engineering, physics, or related areas of study.
• 5+ years of antenna design, RF systems, analysis, modeling, and optimization of spacecraft communications assemblies.
• Hands-on development, prototyping, and testing of antennas and RF components for aerospace applications.
• Proficiency in RF system design, analysis, and simulation across multiple frequency bands (UHF, L, S, X, Ka).
• Experience with multi-band antenna systems and RF performance optimization.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and manage the design, development, test, and qualification of antennas for spacecraft communications.
• Collaborate with Lunar Electrical Systems Group and other teams to define antenna product requirements.
• Serve as subject matter expert for the assigned antenna system.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and other teams to ensure smooth development execution.
• Pursue performance improvements, new capabilities, cost reduction, and faster cycle times.
