Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced RF/antenna engineer to design, test, and qualify antennas for lunar spacecraft. You will lead development from concept to flight-ready units, ensuring performance across multiple frequency bands and environments.

The role requires deep RF design knowledge, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a passion for safe human spaceflight. U.S. citizenship or eligible status is required.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
• 5+ years in antenna design, RF systems and aerospace assemblies.
• Prototyping and testing of antennas and RF components for aerospace.
• RF system modeling and simulation fundamentals.
• Experience across UHF, L, S, X, Ka bands.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and manage design, test, and qualification of antennas for spacecraft comms.
• Collaborate with Lunar Electrical Systems Group to define antenna products.
• Serve as subject matter expert on assigned antenna system.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and other teams for development.
• Pursue performance improvements, new capabilities, and cost/time reductions.
