Job summary

Moog, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Design Engineer in Buffalo, NY to join the Space Actuation team.

You will translate complex requirements into models and drawings, oversee design deliverables, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective, high-quality product designs. A DoD clearance and NX/PLM experience are highly valued. Qualified candidates have a mechanical or aerospace engineering background with 5+ years in design in a manufacturing setting, and strong drafting and GD&T

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of design engineering experience in a complex manufacturing environment, aerospace experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, documentation standards, and drafting practices.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex project requirements into computer models, layouts, and detailed drawings.
• Oversee design implementation or delivery of projects and programs.
• Collaborate with systems/project/quality teams to ensure cost-efficient design and functional products.
• Create and check detailed drawings; ensure BOM accuracy.
