Steelcase is seeking a mid-senior IT Governance, Risk and Compliance professional to lead IT controls and SOX/GITC programs. You will coordinate with IT, business units, and audit partners to strengthen risk posture and regulatory readiness.

You will conduct risk assessments, policy reviews, and vendor evaluations, while maintaining the enterprise risk register and driving remediation initiatives. A strong communicator with a chance to mentor peers is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Five+ years in Information Systems Audit, IT Risk Assurance, or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting SOX, ICFR, and PCAOB standards.
• Experience designing, testing, and improving IT controls in large enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of SOX, NIST CSF, COBIT, GDPR, CCPA and related standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead maintenance and execution of IT controls and compliance programs to meet regulatory requirements.
• Own and coordinate activities related to SOX, GITCs, Data Privacy, and third-party risk management.
• Serve as liaison between IT, business, and audit partners for risk and compliance activities.
• Conduct risk assessments, policy reviews, vendor evaluations, contracts, and audit activities.
• Maintain and enhance the enterprise IT risk register and track remediation efforts.
• Communicate risk and control issues to leadership and develop action plans.
• Work with control owners to ensure controls are designed, tested, and operated effectively.
• Manage workflows in GRC platforms supporting controls, risk, privacy, compliance, and audit.
• Support employee compliance awareness, education, and training initiatives.
• Provide thought leadership to advance governance, risk, compliance, and control maturity.
• Mentor peers and build organizational capability through knowledge sharing.
