Job summary

Blommer Chocolate Company is seeking a seasoned SOX/Internal Audit professional to lead testing, documentation, and remediation efforts from our Chicago HQ. You will partner with plant and corporate teams, driving compliance and process improvements in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

The role requires 3+ years of SOX or internal audit experience, with CPA/CIA preferred, and up to 30% travel to plant and corporate locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years SOX or internal audit experience.
• Strong COSO knowledge and business process understanding.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with process owners while coordinating SOX testing and documentation.
• Perform testing across entity-level controls, order-to-cash, procurement-to-pay, accounting and reporting.
• Prepare audit-ready workpapers and documentation.
• Remediate control deficiencies with stakeholders, supporting process improvements.
• Ensure SOX documentation adheres to established standards.
