Uber Technologies Inc. in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Senior Advisor for Financial Risk Management to lead SOX compliance and IT control efforts.

You will drive the end-to-end control environment, partner with auditors, and champion risk-informed improvements across engineering, product, and finance teams. You will help design scalable, automated controls using data analytics, stay current with regulatory guidance, and communicate risk insights to FRM leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years in SOX, internal audit or public accounting (Big 4 a plus).
• CISA, CISSP, CPA or other relevant certification preferred.
• Experience auditing platform-based tech with distributed systems and cloud-native apps.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the lead advisor to IT owners for internal control environment and SOX compliance.
• Evaluate and monitor ICFR IT controls, mapping assertions to control activities.
• Manage relationships with auditors, control owners across Eng, Product, and Finance.
• Identify deficiencies, investigate root causes, and monitor remediation actions.
• Promote risk awareness through training and knowledge sharing.
• Lead continuous improvement of the IT SOX program using tooling and analytics.
• Stay current on SOX, PCAOB standards, and SEC guidance.
• Prepare clear reports for FRM leadership on risk and SOX status.
