Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst in Financial Risk Management to design and implement a world-class financial controls program across Revenue and Partner Payments.

You will partner with product teams, Internal Audit and external auditors to maintain a robust control environment and proactive risk response. You will collaborate with FRM IT to align IT and business controls, develop process documentation, and lead control testing with third parties to address gaps and ensure SOX

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred.
• 4-6 years of audit, controls, compliance or risk management experience.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to plan and perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyze complex processes to identify financial, operational, systems and compliance risks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects concurrently.
• Ability to thrive in environments of uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, develop and implement effective financial controls with control owners.
• Improve control environment efficiency via automation or process improvements.
• Create and maintain flowcharts, narratives and control documentation for Revenue and Partner Payments.
• Build relationships across Finance, Internal Audit, and external auditors to manage risk.
• Identify and manage existing and emerging risks through early detection and preventative measures.
• Collaborate with FRM IT teams to align IT controls with business controls and ITGC scope.
• Provide control-related training to strengthen the controls environment.
• Implement new processes and controls in response to business changes (new products, system enhancements, M&A).
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure SOX compliance.
• Oversee third-party testing of controls and address gaps with business partners.
