Job summary

North Italia is seeking a Sous Chef to help lead a culinary team in delivering from-scratch Italian dishes with a focus on quality and hospitality. You will report to the Executive Chef and oversee shifts, ingredient knowledge, and cost control to meet financial targets.

The role requires 2+ years of high-volume culinary management, strong operational understanding, and experience with POS systems. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume culinary management experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of business operations and financials.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory control systems; POSitouch and Crunchtime are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts including scheduling, planning and daily decision making.
• Demonstrate ingredient knowledge and culinary trend awareness.
• Help the restaurant reach financial goals by controlling cost of goods and finding solutions when targets are not met.
