Job summary

Compass Group USA, Eurest division, is seeking a Sous Chef to support culinary operations in a corporate dining environment. You will assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation while upholding client culture and Health Department regulations.

You will lead back-of-house teams, train staff, and help deliver high-quality meals with attention to quality, presentation, and cost control. Strong leadership and culinary skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related culinary experience including 1 year at the management level.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, or healthcare food service.
• Knowledge of food trends, quality, sanitation, safety, and food cost controls.
• Ability to set up and distribute production sheets.
• Supervisory and coaching skills; willingness to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and preparing various food items.
• Assist with planning and creating menus.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Assist with cost controls and managing expenditures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
