Job summary

Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, FL seeks a skilled Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations, ensure adherence to recipes, and maintain high standards of quality. The role is on-site and full-time, demanding hands-on cooking and strong leadership across all stations.

The Sous Chef will assist with inventory, costing, payroll control, safety, and menu planning while driving consistency, energy efficiency, and profitability in a fast-paced club kitchen.

Qualifications

• A degree from post-secondary culinary arts program.
• Three years in a food preparation position encompassing all phases of food preparation and kitchen operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or supervises kitchen staff for daily soups, sauces, and specials per standard recipes.
• Assists Executive Chef with inventories, pricing, cost controls, requisitioning and issuing for production.
• Conducts daily raw cost tracking and codes invoices for payment.
• Manages kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef and supervises staff.
• Helps with training, sanitation, safety, and menu planning; ensures quality, cost, and profitability.
