Job summary

You will manage direct materials, sub-assemblies, and specialized services, while partnering with Production, Quality, Regulatory, and R&D to ensure uninterrupted commercial supply. The role emphasizes supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, cost reduction via TCO analysis, and rigorous risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5–7 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience with ERP systems (prefer QAD) and Power BI.
• Proven track record of contract negotiations, cost savings, and data-driven decisions using Excel or ERP analytics tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Access, Outlook; SQL or similar.
• Experience in an FDA-regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
• Inventory management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategies for critical direct materials, sub-assemblies, and specialized services.
• Manage key supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms, pricing agreements, and SLAs.
• Identify supply chain vulnerabilities and implement risk-management frameworks.
• Partner with QA/RA to qualify new suppliers and manage supplier change notifications.
• Conduct market analysis, TCO modeling, and spend analytics for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with R&D and Operations to transition components to commercial-scale manufacturing.
• Direct use of ERP systems to monitor supplier performance, track purchase orders, and manage inventory forecasting.
