This role requires collaboration across engineering, quality, and manufacturing to ensure robust designs and compliant documentation. The successful candidate will design, document, procure, and validate components, supervise Technicians, and lead risk analysis and verification activities within a medical

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years in R&D, level I–III DOE.
• Knowledge of medical device product development and quality systems.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop components or subsystems for transcatheter heart valves and delivery systems.
• Design and document components and subsystems.
• Procure components.
• Develop assembly procedures.
• Conduct engineering analysis and feasibility testing of components of subsystems.
• Partner with Quality to conduct risk analysis and design verification.
• Partner with Manufacturing to develop procedures and transfer to external manufacturing houses.
• Supervise Technicians.
