Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager in the Fremont, CA area to lead the techno-commercial strategy for the Cables commodity. You will integrate engineering insight, supplier capability assessment, cost modelling and negotiations to enable scalable, reliable sourcing solutions.

You will influence early design decisions, align sourcing with technology roadmaps, and develop supplier ecosystems to reduce lifecycle risks while delivering measurable value across cost, quality, lead time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or supply chain field and 15+ years in strategic sourcing or techno-commercial roles.
• Strong experience with cables, harnesses, interconnects, or similar engineered commodities.
• Proven ability to translate technical requirements into sourcing strategy and supplier capability plans.
• Experience in should-costing, value engineering, and contract governance.

• Lead the techno-commercial strategy for the Cables commodity across engineering and supplier networks.
