Pendulum, Hybrid role based in San Francisco, is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Manager for New Product Introduction to drive sourcing workstreams from concept to launch.

You will own raw material strategy, lead supplier negotiations, and manage cross-functional execution to ensure timely product commercialization. The role requires 8+ years in strategic sourcing within a regulated manufacturing setting, with strong Netsuite ERP, analytics, and supplier-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or NPI within manufacturing.
• Experience sourcing complex materials in nutraceuticals, food & beverage, pharma, or regulated industries.
• Proven ability to commercialize new products with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated supplier negotiations with cost drivers and pricing.
• Strong analytical skills: spend analysis, should-cost, pricing & financial evaluation.
• Advanced Netsuite ERP proficiency plus Excel/Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Own the sourcing workstreams from concept to commercialization for new products.
• Translate product concepts into executable sourcing strategies.
• Own raw material strategy across probiotics, active ingredients, excipients, flavors, and more.
• Partner with Product to set milestones and resolve launch-date risks.
• Inform stakeholders on progress, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Lead supplier strategies and relationships for the raw material portfolio.
• Develop supplier networks for innovation, continuity, and cost competitiveness.
• Lead supplier identification, qualification, and readiness for new products.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, capacity, and forecasts.
• Establish supplier expectations and lead performance reviews.
• Serve as sourcing SME during product commercialization.
• Collaborate with Product, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Planning, Packaging, Manufacturing, Finance.
• Build tools to improve launch predictability and supplier visibility.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives as priorities evolve.
• The first-year success includes defined milestones and a resilient supplier network.
