Responsibilities

• Selects equipment for ultrasound setup according to examination specifications.
• Explains procedures to patients and assists with patient positioning.
• Adjusts transducers and controls per organ examined and depth requirements.
• Documents test data and patient information in ultrasound system.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and records diagnostic data.
• Maintains clean work area, equipment, and inventory.
• Assists in orienting new staff and training students.
