Job summary

OU Health’s Imaging division seeks an experienced Sonographer II to perform advanced diagnostic imaging across OU Health locations. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and high-quality examinations. You will work with Providers to ensure accurate imaging and timely reporting.

The incumbent may mentor colleagues and participate in teaching activities. Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Sonography or Imaging, 3–5 years of experience, and BLS with a required

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in sonography/imaging per ARDMS/ARRT/CCI.
• 3–5 years sonography experience.
• Current BLS by AHA and one ARDMS/ARRT credential required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging on patients as ordered by providers.
• Ensure testing is performed safely and to high quality standards.
• Prepare patients and review clinical history for tests.
• Transfer images to EHR and prepare studies for reporting.
• Provide mentorship to new team members and participate in teaching.
• May administer contrast per protocol.
