Job summary

OneTrust is looking for a Sr. Solutions Engineer to report to the Solutions Engineering Manager. In this role, you’ll drive business development and sales by providing technical expertise for the OneTrust Data Privacy Compliance platform.

The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of relevant experience in the technology industry, expertise with REST APIs and software demonstrations, and a willingness to travel. The salary range offered is $127,500 — $165,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Job description

The Challenge

We're looking for a Sr. Solutions Engineer (SE) that will report to the Solutions Engineering Manager. In this role, you will drive business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise, competitive positioning, and product evaluation support to prospective customers for the OneTrust Data Privacy Compliance platform.

Your Mission

• Serve as technical expert on systems integrations during major sales opportunities, including the preparation and delivery of proposals, RFPs, and custom proof‑of‑concept evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust’s integration capabilities to meet client objectives.
• Conduct technical deep‑dive discussions to architect integrations and advise customers on best practices.
• Support Sales teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options.
• Coordinate with internal R&D, technical integrations, and partner integrations teams to stay on top of product capabilities and future direction.
• Conduct custom proof‑of‑concept evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust’s integration capabilities to meet client objectives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience, ideally in the technology industry and/or an Enterprise Cloud‑based Software company.
• Expertise selling, configuring, and delivering software demonstrations.
• Expertise implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies.
• Hands‑on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML, CSS, Powershell scripting, ASP.NET, and C# (experience a plus).
• Experience with Kubernetes (preferred), Docker, and OpenShift.
• Advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and programming.
• Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in R&D, marketing, sales, and engineering.
• Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment.
• Willingness to travel (Estimated 25%).

Compensation

Salary Range: $127,500 — $165,000 USD (annual base pay).
