Job summary

Google in Boulder, CO is seeking a gUP Shopping Partner Engineering specialist within gTech Professional Services to support our API ecosystem for Shopping, including Universal Commerce Protocol, Google Business Profile and Google Merchant Center integrations.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to deliver customer‑driven solutions, provide high‑touch guidance, and develop developer tools while operating within SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
• 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-touch technical guidance, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure seamless partner integrations within defined Service-level agreement (SLAs).
• Gather operational feedback to advocate for product enhancements, bug fixes, and feature improvements with Product and Engineering teams.
• Work with Product and Partner Operations Managers to define, prioritize, and launch new features and internal tools.
• Develop technical documentation and developer tools to streamline onboarding, improve product serviceability, and scale operations.
• Perform implementation reviews and analyze partner data to identify, drive, and maximize growth opportunities using Google technologies.
