Job summary

Google is seeking a skilled engineer for the gTech Professional Services team to support Shopping API integrations and partner ecosystems across Sunnyvale, CA and other U.S. locations. You will troubleshoot, document, and optimize technical solutions for advertisers and publishers.

You’ll collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to implement features, analyze partner data, and drive scale and reliability of the Shopping ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-touch technical guidance, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure seamless partner integrations within defined Service-level agreement (SLAs).
• Gather operational feedback to advocate for product enhancements, bug fixes, and feature improvements with Product and Engineering teams.
• Work with Product and Partner Operations Managers to define, prioritize, and launch new features and internal tools.
• Develop technical documentation and developer tools to streamline onboarding, improve product serviceability, and scale operations.
• Perform implementation reviews and analyze partner data to identify, drive, and maximize growth opportunities using Google technologies.
