IBM seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer (HashiCorp Portfolio) to apply extensive technical knowledge to advance sales of HashiCorp products by removing technical inhibitors and designing viable client solutions.

You will engage with clients to understand requirements, design solutions using HashiCorp capabilities, deliver demonstrations and proofs of concept, and stay current on portfolio features while supporting sales opportunities.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer (Hashicorp Portfolio), you will utilize extensive technical knowledge to sell Business Unit specialty or brand products to clients, removing technical inhibitors to sales opportunities. You will design viable client solutions by leveraging current product capabilities and provide input to product teams for solutions refinement.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Engage with Clients: Work directly with clients to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and business needs, and identify how HashiCorp solutions can address them.
• Design Client Solutions: Develop viable technical solutions using HashiCorp portfolio capabilities, adapting designs to customer requirements and providing feedback to support solution refinement.
• Deliver Technical Proof Points: Create and deliver demonstrations, POTs, POCs, workshops, solution designs, proposals, and MVPs that demonstrate product capabilities and help advance sales opportunities.
• Showcase Solutions: Apply a "show me, don't tell me" approach to bring solutions to life through hands-on demonstrations and customized technical experiences.
• Maintain Product Expertise: Stay current on the HashiCorp portfolio, product capabilities and limitations, competitive offers
• Support Sales Opportunities: Partner with sales teams throughout the customer journey, providing technical expertise and clearly communicating how proposed solutions address client requirements.
