Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior Computer or Software Engineer for the NVEX Solutions Engineering team to advance network tech used in AI clusters. You will connect customer support with R&D to resolve complex issues on InfiniBand, NVLink, and Spectrum-X, and drive root-cause analysis from the field to the codebase.

Ideal candidates have a BS in a relevant field, 5+ years in C/Python on Linux, 8+ years in software for NIC drivers or switch ASICs, and 3+ years supporting customers.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer, Electrical, or Software Eng or equivalent.
• 5+ years in C or Python on Linux.
• 8+ years in software for NIC drivers, switch ASICs, firmware, or SDN stacks.
• 3+ years directly supporting end-customers, partners, or integrators for network equipment.
• Strong system software expertise.
• Professional-level communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist network and AI cluster support teams in reproducing and root-causing issues.
• Work with R&D to develop fixes, workarounds, and solutions for critical customers.
• Become an authority on NVIDIA network technologies (InfiniBand, NVLink, Spectrum-X).
• Analyze network performance metrics and recommend tuning for high-performance, lossless networks.
• Develop support and analysis tools for field issue analysis.
• Daily use of AI tools for software development, log and trace analysis, and source code debugging.
• Occasional weekends/holidays work to support customers.
