Job summary

Patterson Pope is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to work with project resources and customers to understand requirements and deliver advanced OnBase solutions. You will lead implementations, configure workflows, and support complex integrations within Patterson Pope’s scanning environment.

The role requires hands-on OnBase experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. This is a full-time on-site position based in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Experience with additional ECM systems is a plus.
• Experience implementing and supporting capture software solutions in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Customer Resources regarding solution and software options based on customer feedback.
• Lead discovery sessions to develop functional requirements during discovery and engineering phases.
• Implement the software and configure the solution incorporating information captured during discovery.
• Provide Prototype Reviews & Test enablement sessions for the client during the project build.
• Develop system design and specification documents, administrative documentation, and/or user documentation as needed.
• Custom development of supporting applications and integrations using a variety of tools.
• Handle technical and customer issues as they arise during implementations, escalating issues to other resources as necessary.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of support issues as needed.
• Provide training during an OnBase installation and ongoing support once completed.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of OnBase modules and various integration tools and techniques as needed.
• Design, build, and configure capture software solutions (scanning, OCR/ICR, indexing, and batch processing workflows).
• Provide ongoing day-to-day support for the scanning bureau’s production capture environment.
• Partner with scanning bureau operations staff to optimize capture profiles, batch classes, and quality control processes.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on project implementation and support.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Senior Solutions Engineers work closely with Patterson Pope project resources and the Customer to fully understand the customer requirements and develop advanced solutions with the goal of delivering the highest quality, most cost-effective solution in a timely manner. These solutions will primarily be centered on installing, configuring, and customizing one too many complex modules of Hyland’s OnBase product.

Senior Solutions Engineers work closely with Patterson Pope project resources and the Customer to fully understand the customer requirements and develop advanced solutions with the goal of delivering the highest quality, most cost-effective solution in a timely manner. These solutions will primarily be centered on installing, configuring, and customizing one too many complex modules of Hyland’s OnBase product.

The Senior Solutions Engineer will lead our project implementation and provide support to complex issues. This includes configuring workflows, creating custom integrations, and supporting and troubleshooting the system as well as providing demonstrations, prototype reviews and sales support. This individual will also be asked to lead or assist in discovery, training, solution documentation and support services tasks.

This individual will also configure, implement and support capture software solutions for Patterson Pope’s scanning operations, including ongoing and daily production scanning projects.

• Provide ongoing, day-to-day support for the scanning bureau’s production capture environment, resolving issues to keep active scanning projects on schedule
• Partner with scanning bureau operations staff to optimize capture profiles, batch classes, and quality control processes for client and internal scanning projects
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on project implementation and support
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
