SMX is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to drive design and delivery of software solutions for the Department of War. The role leads architecture efforts, guides development teams, and coordinates with clients to ensure high‑quality applications and user experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or commensurate experience.
• 10+ years in architecture/solutions in corporate or government environment.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on customer engagements to address complex solution architecting and project issues.
• Lead architecture and specification development for next generation solutions and advise development teams.
• Provide technical leadership to teammates and client service delivery through coaching and mentorship.
• Stay abreast of innovation and advances in development tools and computing systems.
• Develop go‑to‑market strategies for software applications and solutions.
• Assist in collecting, documenting, and prioritizing requirements and work plans.
