Job summary
SMX seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to drive solution design for DoW initiatives, leading architecture, and best practices across engagements. The role emphasizes technical leadership, coordination with development teams, and support for business development and proposal activities.
Ideal candidates have a DoD/government solutions background, top-secret clearance, and strong experience with cloud operations, modern IT practices, and architecture frameworks. Remote participation is supported.
Qualifications
- Clearance required: Top Secret.
- At least ten years of experience in corporate or government solutions.
- Experience as Solution Architect with full lifecycle implementations.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe methodologies.
- Experience with cloud operations (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and specification development for next generation solutions.
- Provide technical leadership to teammates and client service delivery.
- Assist in capture and growth development activities.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for software applications.
- Ensure project procedures and controls are followed.
- Lead and participate in proposal development and opportunity identification.
