Job summary

Ellucian is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Services Solutions team and lead the functional design of scalable, cloud-based SaaS solutions for higher education. You will partner with sales and stakeholders to translate institutional priorities into actionable designs, while guiding cross-functional discovery and ensuring feasibility with engineering teams.

You will leverage deep knowledge of Ellucian Student ecosystem, including Banner/Colleague, to drive customer-centric

Qualifications

8+ years with Ellucian functional capabilities, including 4+ years in a senior/principal consulting role.
Deep functional experience with Banner and/or Colleague (ERP) is preferred.
Strong customer and executive engagement; ability to present complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

Translate institutional goals into functional designs and recommended capabilities.
Lead pre-sales workshops, RFP responses, and solution demonstrations conveying business value.
Assess requirements against Ellucian Student ecosystem to identify gaps and practical approaches.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Delivery and Engineering to guide multi-workstream solution design.
Mentor less-experienced architects and ensure smooth transition from design to delivery.
