Job summary

LMI in Washington, DC, is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to shape strategy and drive technology-enabled solutions for federal supply chain and logistics missions. You will translate complex challenges into integrated, scalable solutions leveraging LMI's data assets, analytics, and proprietary platforms.

As a senior technical leader, you will advise program teams, collaborate with developers and data scientists, engage senior government stakeholders, and influence technical direction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of federal supply chain, logistics, and sustainment missions.
• Knowledge of modern data architectures, cloud technologies, APIs, data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML.
• Experience supporting business development, capture, or customer-facing technical engagements.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences; security clearance readiness.

Responsibilities

• Shape technical strategy and solution direction across supply chain, logistics, and sustainment programs.
• Architect integrated, mission-focused solutions using proprietary platforms and data assets.
• Provide senior technical advisory support to active programs and modernization efforts.
• Lead technical solution development for business development and capture efforts.
• Engage with government customers to understand requirements and demonstrate value.
• Develop demonstrations, prototypes, and proofs of concept with cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to reuse and scale capabilities across programs.
• Collaborate with leadership to align roadmaps and investments.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for applicability to federal missions.
• Serve as a technical thought leader and trusted advisor to stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
