Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to join the North American Retail team, serving as a trusted technical advisor to large Everyday Essentials clients and shaping cloud strategy and architectural direction for store networks, loyalty programs, and supply chains.

You will own end-to-end engagements, lead Well-Architected Reviews, and collaborate with ProServe and SI partners to deliver scalable, multi-region solutions that drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted technical advisor and primary SA for strategic enterprise retail accounts, building deep relationships with C-suite technology leaders and influencing their cloud strategy
• Own the end-to-end technical engagement: from discovery and architecture design through implementation support, optimization, and ongoing innovation
• Lead Well-Architected Reviews and design sessions for complex, multi-region architectures supporting thousands of store locations globally
• Develop and present Technical Account Plans that align AWS capabilities with customer business objectives (e.g., stores expansion goals, loyalty program growth, supply chain transformation)
• Conduct executive briefings, white-boarding sessions, and technical deep-dives with customer leadership and their technology partners
